As of July 1, 2026, we have officially kicked off our mid-summer cycle with two brand-new, high-reward double-month Expeditions running until August 31, 2026. Whether you thrive in the rain-slicked, neon alleyways of corporate espionage or prefer the cold, calculated analytics of competitive card design, the Forge has a destiny waiting for you.

Expedition 1: Neon Shards of Tomorrow

• Focus: Sci-Fi TTRPG / Modern Superhero Espionage / Cinematic Narrative
• Timeline: July 1 – August 31, 2026

The Quest

The neon-lit megacities of our cinematic espionage frameworks are facing an existential, silent crisis. Drawing inspiration from high-stakes corporate heists, covert intelligence operations, and rogue superhuman factions, your task is to craft a gritty, tactical scenario. We want to see deep lore, tight infiltration grids, and heavy moral dilemmas that push cybernetic operatives or superhero squads to their absolute absolute limits.

• Objective: Upload a minimum 12-page PDF mission module OR 4 fully-fleshed-out superhero/villain profiles complete with unique superpower manifests, tactical stats, and corporate backstories.
• Crucial Step: You must include the "aberrant" tag in your content metadata.
• The Reward: +20 Facets (Complexity). Building intricate security networks and complex power mechanics forces your 3D crystal to push out sharper, more intricate geometric structures, rapidly advancing your structural Tier.

Expedition 2: The Architects of Essentia

• Focus: AI Card Design, Lore & Analytics (via CardsForge)
• Timeline: July 1 – August 31, 2026

The Quest

The cosmic battlefield of Essentia: War of Worlds is shifting, and a new power is clawing its way through the dimensional rifts. Your task is to play god and design a brand-new, unique Faction from scratch. Harness the advanced analytical suite of cardsforge.eu (v1.7.0) to conceptualize their unique gameplay theme, test their internal synergies, and mathematically prove they are balanced for the competitive ecosystem.

• Objective: Create and upload a mini-expansion deck of 15 unique Faction Cards via CardsForge, accompanied by 1 detailed Lore & Balance Report (minimum 3 pages, available in EN or HU) analyzing how this new faction counters or alters current meta strategies.
• Crucial Step: You must include the "essentia" tag upon upload.
• The Reward: A massive 2.2x Resonance Glow Multiplier. Because this promotes deep system analysis, your crystal’s luminance will skyrocket—perfect for amplifying your newly unlocked v1.4.0 resonance types like Orbital Rings or Pulse Echo.

Creator Guidelines & Best Practices

To ensure your submissions pass the Forge’s quality check and render flawlessly on the public index pages, keep these technical parameters in mind:

1. Optimize Your Visuals: Our v1.3.2 image pipelines serve all assets in WebP format. Ensure any maps, card graphics, or PDF cover illustrations are high-resolution but compressed for lazy-loading.
2. Double-Check Your Tags: The background queue scripts check for the explicit tags (aberrant or essentia) to automatically calculate and apply your rewards. Missing tags mean delayed crystal growth!
3. Double Month Strategy: Since these expeditions run for a full two months, use July to draft and balance your mechanics, and August to polish the layout, graphics, and lore translations.
